Angela Forrest

ANGELA FORREST has been entertaining NYC crowds for over fifteen years. Known for her wild headlining antics at the Starlight Lounge's Starlight Revue, she was one of Backstage Magazines TOP TEN STAND OUT STAND-UPS OF 2004. Headlining at comedy clubs like The Improv and Gotham Comedy Club, she later produced Starlight Lounge's first hour comedy special, ANGELA FORREST LIVE! , and started Forrest Entertainment LLC. With Forrest Entertainment, Angela wrote, produced and performed PROFILE OF A SAINT at PS-NBC, later also produced its premiere at LaMaMa ETC, and was nominated for a NY Innovative Theater Award for "Outstanding Solo Performance". She has also been a Special Guest Star at the NY Heritage of Pride opening ceremonies, appearing on the HBO stage in Bryant Park.
As an actress, she's worked with Spike Lee in SHE HATE ME and INSIDE MAN. She played opposite Roger Rees in GOING UNDER directed by Eric Werthman, and appeared in GETTING IN directed by Doug Liman. She was awarded the Francis Ann and Elaine Award for Women in Comedy for writing and performing in Plum TVs comedy sketch show, LIVE IN THE EAST hosted by Christie Brinkley. And she's the voice of Sabu for the Anime series SPACE PIRATE MITO.
TOBACCOLAND: BEFORE will be her feature directorial debut.

Steven Jones (LP)
B.S., graduate studies at Virginia State University. Film credits include NOTHING TO LOSE, LET'S GET BUSY, ALMA'S RAINBOW, DAUGHTERS OF THE DUST. Television credits include THE DIGGERS and THE FOLLOWER, among others. Music videos include "Freedom," "Sarah," "Doug E. Fresh," "XY," and many others. Awards include NAACP Image Award, Best Picture, and Sundance Festival, Best Cinematography, both for DAUGHTERS OF THE DUST; Golden Eagle Award for DIGGERS; and the Paul Robeson Award for THE FOLLOWER. In 2004, Daughters of the Dust was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
John LeBlanc (Cinematographer)
Trained as a Cinematographer for over two decades, John has shot with some of the top named directors on feature films, music videos and commercials. He has won a prestigious Golden Lion award in Cannes for his AT&T International campaign. His feature credits include ANGEL TOWN, STRIPPED TO KILL, PERSONAL FOUL, THE OUTSIDER, TRUTH OR DARE and COCOON. In addition to numerous commercial credits, John also has music video credits including Kiss (Prince), Eternity (Sheena Easton), and The Right Stuff (Vanessa Williams).
Maurice Robinson (Asst. to Director/Camera)
Maurice began dancing in his teens and later attended the North Carolina School of the Arts in Ballet and Modern Dance. After graduating from the high school, he continued his education in Dance along with Photography and Lighting Design while at NCSA.
He's danced with the Charlotte City Ballet, the VanPelt Dance Ensemble in Columbus, OH, and was Dance Captain for Trumpet in the Land outdoor drama.
Tour Manager for the Theatre WV Dance Company, Technical Director for the Beckley Dance Theatre School, and Lighting and Scene Design for the multidisciplinary performing arts company TOTAL THEATRE. He began writing, directing, producing and shooting his own short films in 2000. He continues to create his own works and looks for opportunities to assist others in theirs.
